Make Your Intranet Sparkle This Christmas

What a year it’s been here at Sorce, although only November, now the Christmas ads have been released by the major high street retailers we can start planning our festive intranet campaigns.

So, in advance of December, here are some ideas to boost your intranet engagement and get your intranet into the festive spirit.

Don’t leave your intranet out of the festive party. From creating an event to publishing a form to capture everyone’s menu preferences and more, your intranet is and invaluable tool when planning the office party.

Use your recognition app to invite colleagues to nominate people who have really helped them this year, whether that’s by working on a large project or something much smaller that has really helped make their day, week or year. Everyone loves to be acknowledged for a job well done, so celebrate all of your champions during December.

Christmas is a time for helping and giving in our local communities. If you are supporting your local foodbank, hospice, hospital, school or more, why not use your intranet to launch your campaign and invite colleagues to either join in, donate or both. Whether that’s bringing food items in for the foodbank, getting a team together for your local Santa run or festive sponsored walk, it will be well received and help bring everyone together.

From office cover to holiday booking and more, use your intranet to highlight your Christmas opening times and publish team cover contact details and in case of emergency contact details.

From dressed up pooches to the office party, create a Christmas gallery that colleagues can publish their photos and videos to.

Finally, don’t forget to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and include a message of thanks for all of the work the company has achieved over the year. This might be a great festive video or message from the CEO.
